Winter Protective Style

My hair has been growing since I did my big chop (Read about it here) but the winter brings a new challenge to maintaining my hair. My daily use of water based products made be good for my hair but bad when going out in cold weather. This winter I am choosing to braid my hair in a protective style that will last approximately 1-1.5 months. You can install the braids yourself, or having a professional stylist do them. Make sure that the braids are not too tight especially around the edges) so you can avoid breakage. Also use tea tree oil on a weekly basis to condition your scalp.
